About the Pomeranian

Pomeranians are the most-photographed dogs in our gallery and there is a reason — that puff of orange or cream fur over a tiny confident frame is genuinely irresistible. They are descended from much larger Arctic sled dogs, which means two things: that thick double coat needs cool indoor temperatures, and underneath the fluff is a surprisingly bold personality.

In Dubai, Pomeranians thrive in air-conditioned apartments with brief outdoor time during cool hours. They are perfect for owners who want a small companion that is calm at home but alert and entertaining when guests arrive.

The coat is their crowning feature and needs commitment — twice-weekly brushing minimum, professional groom every six weeks. We sometimes have rare merle and parti colours by special order from European partners.
