A note from our family
Home, after all.
Eight years in, two WhatsApp lines, hundreds of UAE families. We are not the biggest kennel in Dubai — and we never tried to be. We are the one your children will ask for by name.

The name
Why The Good Shepherd?
The name comes from the parable of the Good Shepherd — the one who knows each of his sheep by name, who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one, who lays down his life rather than runs.
We are not pastors, and a puppy is not a parable. But the idea of being known, of not being a number on a docket, of having someone who actually answers when you call — that idea sits at the centre of how we run this kennel. The same family answers the WhatsApp on day one and on year five.
The face on the homepage
Meet Keisha.
Keisha is the light cream Labrador you see on most pages. She has been with the family from the beginning, and she has the gentlest temperament of any dog we have placed.
Visitors notice her first. Children laugh first. She does not work the kennel — she sets its tone.
Eight years, one family
How The Good Shepherd Kennel grew up.
2018
A small family operation, in a quiet corner of Dubai.
We started the way most honest kennels start: a few crates, a vet on speed dial, and a phone number we answered ourselves. We didn't have a brand — we had a feeling about how puppies should leave the door.
2020
Three WhatsApp lines, because two were not enough.
Sales, support, delivery. Different conversations, different tempos. We separated them so families would never wait — and so a delivery question would not get lost behind a sales enquiry.
2022
A network forms — Europe, Russia, and a vet in Jumeirah.
Specialty bloodlines from verified European and Russian breeders, climate-aware advice for UAE summers, and a vet partnership that meant every puppy was seen before the front door of its new home.
2024
Five hundred families. One promise.
Marina, Palm, Ranches, Saadiyat — five hundred homes, twenty-five breeds, one lifetime support line. We have turned away the wrong matches, and that turned out to be the loudest thing on the whole website.
Six promises, in writing
Paperwork, not promises.
Written health guarantee
Every puppy arrives with full documentation — vaccine card, microchip number, deworming record. Not promises, paperwork.
Free UAE delivery
Door-to-door across all seven emirates. The crate, the bow, the starter food bag — included.
Lifetime WhatsApp support
Two dedicated lines — Sales/Support and Delivery. Open for as long as your puppy is with you.
Transparent pricing
No hidden fees, no surprise add-ons. The price you see is the price at your door.
Climate-aware advice
We help you choose a breed that thrives in Dubai summers — not one that suffers in them.
Honest matching
If a breed is wrong for your home, we tell you. Some sales we turn down. That is the whole point.
From the families
Five years later, still on WhatsApp.
Six stories, six homes. Different breeds, same family on the other end of the line.
“They actually said no when I described our apartment. Then they came back with a Cavapoo two weeks later and it was perfect. Who turns down a sale?”

“Delivered to our villa in Arabian Ranches with a vaccine card, a carrier, and a starter food bag. The driver waited until our kids met him.”
Adam

“It is two years later and they still answer my WhatsApps about grooming and food. I have referred four families. They have never once pitched me anything.”
Priya

“We came for a Pomeranian and left with a Maltese. Honestly, they listened harder than the vet did. Five years on, still the kindest decision we made.”
Layla

“My husband is allergic. They walked us through the hypoallergenic breeds, sat with us through a video call, and never pushed. A Cockapoo joined the family three weeks later.”

“We are in Abu Dhabi and they still made it feel local. The puppy arrived calm. The follow-up the next morning is something pet shops never do.”
