About the Alaskan Malamute

Alaskan Malamutes were bred by the Mahlemut Inupiat tribe to haul heavy freight across long Arctic distances. They are physically powerful, deeply social, and famously vocal — a Malamute will tell you about its day.

Unlike Huskies, Malamutes are heavier, more independent, and require villa space with serious year-round climate control. They thrive with active villa families who can commit to daily exercise in cool hours.
