About the Havanese

Havanese are the only dog breed native to Cuba and they carry the warmth of that origin in their disposition. They are people-oriented in a way that goes beyond most companion breeds — they want to be wherever their family is, full stop.

The coat is hypoallergenic and comes in any colour you can name. They train remarkably well for a toy breed and are often used as therapy dogs because of their natural calmness with strangers.

In Dubai, Havanese do well in apartments and small villas alike. They enjoy two short walks a day and will quietly entertain themselves indoors otherwise.

Most of our Havanese puppies go to western expat familys.

Couples and families relocated to Dubai for work, usually between 30 and 50 years old. Often left a family dog behind in their home country and want to restart that ritual in the UAE — on a new continent, in a new climate, often in an apartment, often as first-time UAE owners.
